Hair weave saved a woman's life

Postby QansaGabeyle » Fri Feb 20, 2009 5:19 pm

I just saw this on the news. Weird shit. Funny part was the woman said she INVESTED A LOT OF MONEY into that weave when she was interviewed.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police in Kansas City, Missouri say a woman's tightly-woven hair weave probably saved her life.

Officers found the 20-year-old woman at a store around 11:30 Wednesday night.

She told police an old boyfriend had shot through the back of her car after she rejected his attempt at reconciliation.

Officers found a bullet in the woman's hair and said her tightly-woven weave likely stopped the bullet. The victim was not harmed.

The ex-boyfriend and a second suspect were both taken into custody a short time later.
