A BBC video report of Somalia and Djibouti in 1976

Postby Warsame101 » Wed Mar 04, 2009 1:38 pm

I never knew there was a Somali supported-movement that resisted the French in the early 70's. Never heard of the 'Somali Coast Liberation Front' 'till now.

Synopsis:
The French have sent extra troops to their East African territory of Afars & Issas to prevent a takeover by the Somalia supported FLCS.

Djibouti is still a French colony; there are thousands of French troops (and Americans) who control it. Those troops launch attacks against sovereign countries such as Somalia.

What Djibouti has done, allowing foreigners to launch attacks against Somalia, is a disgrace.
