Postby Garuun » Mon Mar 09, 2009 2:06 pm

How come talk about lesbianism is allowed in general section while important issues like what happen in our country is ignored and moved???

I suspect there is evil administration, enemy of somali people in here that works smoothly to corrupt ,degrade somali youth minds, and make them disconnect from our background and culture..

Blame popular culture bruv. When it comes down to it, politics and important subjects as a whole are seen as boring and alien in this place.....most people here belong to the apathy prone uncultured youth generation who are in serious need of dhaqan celis...

But you know why the crap is tolerated? It's because it is outlandish and outrageous funny at times. The more outrageous stuff you're exposed to, the less you're likely to become offended by them. You're basically getting psychologically conditioned in here. Soon enough, you'll start to see the good as bad and the bad as good....which is a product of popular culture.

Also, most people on here have short attention span and can't read af Somali. So there's no point in flooding the forum with threads which get very little if any response. The only political or current affairs threads that get far in here are the ones related to qabiil or are turned into qabiil topics.

It's all pointless really and I'm only here because I can't beat my procrastination.

*A note to Admin and the Screw* ....you guys need to adopt a more liberal stance when it comes to political threads. If you can tolerate foul topics in here, there's no reason why you can't give politics the same rights.
