What I love about Somalis wax kuuma qarinaayaan. They say it as they see it!
Here is a one I recently heard of; Idaa Jaa!! I needed stiches afterwards
... It literally means If he comes/or arrives.
I wonder if odayga was nicknamed that because he stood up ppl.

The weirdest 2 nick names I have ever heard were "Idaa jaa" and "Inaa Jacalnaa" who lives in MN last I knew ..
