Ohio Somali restaurent owner shot dead

Columbus police are investigating two killings last night, both apparently the result of separate robberies.

Daud Osman, 38, died after being shot at the Iftin Restaurant, 4191 Cleveland Ave., shortly after 10 p.m.
Columbus police said Osman was shot when three masked men robbed the restaurant, which serves African cuisine and is owned by Hibo Omar.

He was taken to Ohio State University Medical Center with several gunshot wounds and died shortly before midnight.
The robbers fled the restaurant after robbing two restaurant patrons.
