Can't we all agree, Maakhiris are not ethnic Somali. Yes we share the same language, yes we've integrated with the ethnic Somali people. All we share is a language, Islam is universal. I am far more closer to my Ogaslabe kin than a Somali thats a fact. Phenotypically its easy to identify a diasporic Maakhiri with their Somali counterpart. Even the late Eurocentrist Coon noted the polar extremes of the morphological phenotypes of the Maakhiri vs ethnic Somali including other Africans. And so do his contemporaries.

No matter how frustrating reality is, Maakhiris are not ethnic Somali.

You lot assume you know what all Somali looks like. Someone could be 100% Somali and look totally different. Phenotypically they're are consistances with all Maakhiris. Whether blue black, I have yet to say Maakhiris dont share some resemblance to their Somali neighbours whom they intermingled with for the last couple centuries. A large segment of Maakhiris display they're phenotypic resemblance to their patriarch. As well as the many matriarchs whom were not Somali but Arabian or Far Eastern.
