The British Education System Vs American Education System

I think the British Education system works really well from the point you leave Secondary Education… I don't see the point of the Secondary System… progressing to the following year regardless of whether you are failing or passing.
In my opinion it can be argued that this type of structure gives no motivation to those failing or any type of positive reinforcement to those passing!
I don't know much about the American Education system apart from the one point I am trying to put across which is that you have to pass or show some level of competence in order to proceed to the following year/grade (am i right or wrong?)

. This system if correct is practised in most countries across the world apart from England and maybe other countries I don't know of… nevertheless which system do you think works better?

US Public Education System is... Elementary School > Middle School > High School
and then University, some people go to Community College for two years and then go to Uni for the last two years as long as their credits transfer...in some ways this is really good if you can't get into a Uni or if you don't have the funds for it.
as long as you don't fail, you should get to the next grade... then again there are people who can't read in the 9th grade

The worst of all is the French.
Not only do they have 13 grades, but one cannot go to university unless passing a final test called baccalaureat.
Oh back in my days there was a 3 echelon system of exams.
You have the first one which was called entree en 6eme.
Then you had another one called BEPC
Then the final one baccalaureat.
Essentially you cruise along from kindergarten to the the 6th grade boom :gotta pass a test to go any further..thenyou chill for a minute and by the 10th grade boom again..another exam..then another 3 years and final boom..otherwise can't go to University

Each state differ though, when I first came to seattle from one of the most lockdown schools in california, I was shocked, people were just walking around after the bell rang, niggas were smoking outside and the most heart pounding one, people were ditching classes and going where ever, a no no in San Diego, u can go to jail for that shid, I had to go to courts and shid from getting so many tickets. It was an eye opening experience.
btw, the UK education is weird, dont they choose major for you..........they decide ur future innit.
"alright lil nigga...what big arms u have, u going into labor"
"he ching...the fuk u going?...lawyer?...get ur ass back to accounting"
"Im sorry raj, but that's just ridiculous, u will survive doing computer, trust me"
"Lil abdi, off topic but how many sources of unholy income do ur parents get"

It's kinda the same in Ontario. They don't choose a major for you, but the stream ( applied ( comm. college) or academic (uni) ) you choose in 9th grade determines whether you will have a chance at going to university or not. We also used to have OAC or grade 13 like the brits, but by the time I finished high school we were under a different system.

we have the same, the grade 12 finals makes you get to universwity or faill you.
it's very stressful, that you study whole year and 14 days final exams that depends your future.
we used to have 4 elementry 4 years middle shcool, 4 years secondry school system.
now is 6 ellementry, 3 middle school and 3 high school.
in some school they have both system and depends what you choose.

Typical of the French. Bloody rigid and bureaucratic.
