Hargeysa Hilton Hotel l is located about 7 kilometre from the airport and it takes 10 min. by taxi to arrive to the Hotel .

It first open day was this Eid 8/12/2008 guests includeed Top Somaliland Politicians Kulmiye Chairman Mohamed Mahmood (Silaanyo) and UCID Fasial Warabee .

It has a mix of single rooms and double rooms total number is 45 rooms.

Do these guys not know "Hilton Hotel" is a brand and you can't just use it? If the guys who own it are from dibada they are risking a major lawsuit.

i'm assuming they have no relations with the actual Hilton Hotels chain. but why are you advertising for them?

i am not sure but I head people say its a franchise and khadra xayd of djibouti finished the deal. And she bought the land.

There are petrol station's in Puntland that go by the name ''Shell'' even stealing their logo.

There is also a soda brand with the name 'Fanta' there too.

No you do not need a government. If the people the hotel is registered to are citizens abroad (which they most likely are), the Hilton group would take it to the courts of the person's place of residency.

i doubt they are that smart though, i mean look at gmail and yahoo emails. too cheap? lol.

There are no professional companies (perhaps Dahabshiil comes close) in all of Somaliland or Puntland, thats why it's so easy doing busy there. You can outplay them all in no time
