My Awooe allah ha u naxariistee told a lot of funny stories. He once said that guys used to come to the house when everything is dark and everybody is sleep and then shunkaansi the girls on the low(No sexual activity involved though) loool
Night time shukaansi was the norm back then and they even used to run away with the girl to get married to her without her parent's knowledge...which according to Islam is not even permissible. Sometimes guys used to go to other villages and kidnap the girls they fancied, marrying them by force. Some of those stories are quite funny but when you really think about it, they're quite sad as well.

I find it fascinating that you have the temperament to post such lengthy essays. You also tend to lose the plot half way through them which I find funny....but keep them coming

I think you do more than dancing around but it gives it a certain charm...sorry, didn't mean to freak you out, I get the feeling you're an aspiring writer and I know you people get sensitive about critiques.

I was surprised when I heard them as well. They're funny as hell especially the ones with the qabiil twist. You're mum got married at 15? That's amazing.

Basra, I was sort of referring to your exchange with galol09 but I guess the others are similar to that. Good luck with the writing, you definitely have something there....although I think you're overestimating your literary skills if you're intending to invent a whole new genre.
