Him: a bit agitated, war ileen anaga balayo araknay, car mardanbe i so garac" hungs up.

Ileen maando dhan wuxu leeyahay ma ada i so wacay. :|

nabeela - if u are in uk do they use the the phrase ring me? i know you have to use the word tube for the subway system.

They are translating "dial" literally into Somali. Haven't you said Somalis that order "white water" at restaurants because they translating "biyo cad" into English. :lol: I ask for diet water sometimes to mess with waiters though.

I don't think it is lahjad. I have heard garaac and wac from my own family. I think it is language use. For example one can say "hey hit me up" and the same person can say later "why didn't you call me"?

It's just language usage.
