Some Idiot Somali guys think that if a girl belongs to their qabiil, somehow he has the priority. The biggest Jac happened to this Isaaq guy who tried to come in between me and an Isaaq girl that we used to go high school.

The fcker told the girl 'Ina adeer anaga habar yoonis is la ah, ee dhaboyacada iska daa' (Something only emperor is capable of). The girl said one of the funniest thing ever ' She said, I don't discriminate, If I'd discriminate, I do it in size, ee what's your size' LOL

Well, i dont like going to the mixed Yemeni/Xabashi guy restaurent. His food does not have a good taste at all, except the masluuq thing if you know what i am talking about and i am not one of those faaraxs who chil in there 24/7. So, Fah, we may know each other if you really go to Banadir restaurent. Well, brotherly meeting would be good idea and bring your eedo Kambuli with you...

Mataan-ciideed
why does somebody asking u about your qabiil bothers u? im tired of liberal somalis like u. how are u planning on surviving in somalia? cause "qolamaad tahay" is bound to come up in a convo back home.

Well, i dont mind people ask my qabiil because it seems a natural human behavior to me. you know even other nationalities ask each other which state or province they come from just to know a little about themselves, but the problem of Somalis is, once you told them, they will try to avoid you and some of them might not be even as friendly as they used to be with you.

To be honest I wish I never hung out with Somalis in my Secondary School days, we wasted a lot of time. Not only did we used to hang out, us Somali girls and boy but we even had meeting spots. :|

In my college days, we used to hang out but not so much. All of us Somalis knew each other for the most part, and spoke to each other, we was cool with each other and everything. In college days it was mostly guys in my classes, and so ofcourse in class I used to chat with guys alot, waa ciyaal suuqs hands down (Somali, Non-Somali), they all flirt, so no wonder the religion emphasises on not getting too friendly with them.

By the time I came to university, I had changed, and I thought it was inappropriate to get too friendly with guys, and I wasn't going to go out of my way to make friends with them. Anywho, there aren't that many Somalis in my university, I speak to two Somali girls, but I rarely see them. I don't really speak to [any] guys unless I need to, and if I do speak to them, it is rarely. And at that I don't speak to ANY Somali guys. There was one actually last year, but he left, I used to speak to him.

Sis, ofcourse it is something to do with the religion! We aren't supposed to get too friendly with each other, because it can lead to other stuff.

Salaam
