MJ, i agree. my friends went to MN last spring break and they said they met some nice Somali guys who took them out every night. so i have to agree it is nice. :lol:

abdi, if u can't find a local person then LD is the next option. besides some LDR's r better then other's. as in state to state is ok, but country to country is totally uncool.

ok, the states vary too saxiib. some states r 3-6 hours away. so it isn't so bad. :lol:
allah lakiin if a person is considering a LDR they should definitely weigh their odds. for instance, if the state is less populated with Somali's it isn't so bad. lakiin if the options are abundant, that's an issue

If the driving distance is more than 1 hour away, its long distance. When are you going to know someone who lives far away ?

i know women who married men out of the country. masakiiniinta they travel just to see them, and when they come back guess what?! they are pregnant!

Rer VA are really cool people especially those without family here. I have made some good friends out here.

As for LDRs, I have traversed the US from California to Maine. If you don't live near someone, you never get to know them that well.

As for going overseas and marrying someone, its impossible because I am too paranoid.
