Stray dogs bit dozen men at the Mogadishu Harbour (KN).

At least 10 Mogadishu harbour porters were admitted to the hospital after stray dogs attacked them and bit them with serious body harms.
Doctors suspect the dogs were rabies infected, 5 of the men sustained very serious injuries.
The group of dogs entered the harbour from the central prison’s side of the fence.
These dogs are said to be addicted to human flesh which was abundant for them at the time of Ethiopian occupation, as they are not kept by the people as pets, the animals resorted to feed them selves which ever food they could find within their reach, including the bodies of people who were massacred by Ethiopian troops.
It seems that there is no fighting and no more dead bodied in the city, they now started attacking the people to feed themselves.
There are a sizable number of stray dogs in the town, now the question is not about who will take care of them, rather its about the safety of the people, so taking them out from the streets and keep them in separate place for the people’s own safety will prove the hardest task for government which is now finding very hard to clear the gun toting check point militias who wore the army dress. People will have to wait for indefinite time to see secure neighbourhood in this dog-haunted city
