crossing the US/Canada border

Postby zulaika » Wed Apr 01, 2009 10:24 am

horta why are border agents such priks? how come the customs agents at the airport are so much nicer and more professional?...last time i crossed the border(Windsor/Detroit) i got this really porky white chick who looked like she ate all her feelings and wanted to take it out on others..man was she a b!tch or what.....and she was waiting for me to "lose" it and cause a scene so she can put travel restrictions on me...but i never did..and this bothered her even more so she kept me there for friggin 2 hours

she was like i know you somalis...always lie to get into the US from Canada...ya'll claim you're going to a "wedding"(bending her porky fingers with difficulty). coincidentally i was doing exactly that.. i was going to a friend's wedding in Columbus Ohio. this b!tch was like..."where's that shiny silky dress ya'll wear to weddings..i wanna see it to prove you're going to a wedding"...holly shid..that b!tch know about dirac

anywho...fock border agents. they are not doing their job..but causing a distraction and formulating a situation that don't exist..

She kept telling me to speak up...Im not in the mood to yell...so I just kept my voice the same....she cant do shit to me...Im going back to MY country...she cant deny it...she was so angry...she let me thru anyways...

I think they train them to be a-holes

Zuliaka,

The US should demolish the border and absorb Canada as the 51st state

Prepare to answer following question then you will be allright

Crossing Detroit/Winsor prepear this short interview

Where are you going?
Why are you going there?
How much money did you bring?
is this you car?
who are you visiting?
Did you bring anything illegal like drugs and guns?
How about cigarettes & alcohol?
Where do you work?
What do you do for your company? your position?

Normally if you answer those questions properly there is big chance they will let you go, but if they pull you over then you are certainly going back where ever you came from

If it is a Woman or an immigrant, I automatically know they will give me hard time for a bit even though they will let me through.

I'm US citizen and the American border patrol gave me harder time then the Canadians, I do know why, but thank god it was very smooth crossing for me.

Never had problem when I crossed there 4 years ago. We went through the border, but remembered that we have forgotten a wallet in An Arbor, Michigan, we came back, and the border lady was polite and let us without even searching us

BTW, London, ONT is the sh1t. A lot of mix Somali and Canadian girls

The common thing with all border patrol officers is like Zuleikha mentioned, they will try to find to make you mad or confuse you so they could deny your entry, you need to be as calm as possible and answer all questions properly, if you shout, get nervous, get angry or anyway disrespect them that is automatic go back and they will put travel restrictions on your name for all furute travel.

usually the Canadian agents aren't as mean as the US ones..i've had very little trouble entering Canada coz i carry a Canadian passport, but the US agents are giving their own citizens a hard time too..it's weird..they don't discriminate and apply their misery liberally.

btw: the worst Canadian agents are found Quebec..whether you're crossing the border or flying in. i remember i got into a kerfuffle with one of them at Montreal Airport coming back from Zurich..those francophone Quebecois are always pissed off so i let it ride..stroke their ego say something nice in French about Le Belle Province and say i'm Djiboutian
