Cardiff has one of the oldest concentration of somali seaman in britain. Most seamen worked in the merchant navy and they would be based in either newport or cardiff first. Then they would move from their onto other towns like liverpool, london and manchester.

Whats the book called?

May father and uncle always call liverpool and cardiff home, and we make trips their to pay respect to their old seamen mates.

Half those bastards mix race kids are the offsprings of seaman. Walle I have met many in my life who will proudly tell you that their father was a seaman and he went back home. There was this guy who got killed in my city recently and walle he was white, but his surname was aden and his grandfather was a somali seaman, his kids ended up running the whole city..big time dealers and proud somalis, they would pass through the somali maqaxis and eat.
Another half somali kid got killed in a racist attack, he was killed in a nasty manor. I think it was in Hull..

I know a British Somali girl. Her father was also born in England. She can still write and speak Somali.

She amazed me a lot.
