Attention please

Forumers who can read Somali, please translate the article from our hero who alarmed us at SomaliTalk.com

This is my appeal to members like Warsame101 , Kambuli , AbdiWahab , Xkeyse , Captain24 , Murax.
How about you guys work together and divide the sections of the article and translate it for the youth so they read what is actually going to their motherland .
How much will it honestly cost? 30 minutes , 50 - 60 ?
I'm begging for Somalias sake and our youth let them participate directly from the source

We as the people of Somalia must adresse this critical question to Primeminister Sharmaarkes Office.
Since our dear President are challenged in the english language since he speaks Arabic as second it may actually happen Wallaahi that Shariif is not aware of this dubious MEMO signing.
Focus on the Application sent out by the government of Kenya where there claims overlap some 22 % of Jubbas territorial waters and continental shelf (!)

Grant had an idea that it might be in correlation to ethnic background and relationship between the Coastal region of Kenya and southwestern tip of Somalia.
Somalia should not under any circumstances accept loss of territorial water or N.F.D oil drilling.

I urge you once again please TRANSLATE the article with your best.
http://www.somalitalk.com/2009/may/13/index.html

The link is here, hopefully no excuses
Thank you very much post it here later and adresse which section you have translated.
While I'm reading its quite alarming.

I will make a proposal online for demarcating our boundaries in JUST WAY

Civil Aviation Caretaker Authority for Somalia” (CACAS) has operated from facilities in Nairobi, Kenya.
CACAS employs more than 100 Somali national staff in various technical, operational and administrative functions.
A Mogadishu Flight Information Centre operates 24 hours a day. Air Traffic Controllers provide information to aircraft flying through Somalia Airspace and operating into and out of airports in Somalia. The Centre also provides flight coordination with the neighbouring states. The service coordinates, inter alia, flights movements with adjacent Air Traffic Services (ATS) units (Bombay, Seychelles, Nairobi, Sanaa, Djibouti, Ethiopia) and with ATS units in Somalia.

I am deeply sceptic to this socalled caretaker of our airspace, I've never seen an Air Traffic Controller working in either Hargeisa or Bosaao... I honesly doubt they work 24 hours in Xamar.
I may be wrong but I have never trusted Cadaan relief organizations... some are genuin but majority of them are today an industry only looking after their money.
It may actually be a ghost company here...!

Who have collected the airfares so this thing can fly over Puntland?

This movement of Somalis was stopped by the arrival of the British. A colonial Governor as experienced as Sir Gerald Reece thinks it probable that we may have saved the whole of Kenya from a Somali occupation

Kenyatta was Selassies slave they agreed to make a pact and keep the Somali territories well inside of Kenya and Ethiopia.

How can an unrecognized PM and president from a nation without a central government for 18 years sell anything? Reminds me of when Ali Mahdi gave the Italians the right to dispose chemicals into the waters. The Somali man is truly the devil.

Alluring walaal both the PM and President is official and recognised.
let's not lower the standard of such an important matter to homicide of personal character of official Somali leaders.
Some of them may be reading and sharing our concern.

Take a look at how Yemen is preparing itself through the Socotra line.
Soomaaliya never recognised Yemeni ownership of Socotra or the brother islands.

Image

http://img7.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kharidad3.jpg DIRECT LINK

Blue line is Somalias official demarcated territorial waters.
Green is Kenyas new prepared claim which includes 60 % of Jubbas offshore territory.
This means in future Somali fishermen will not be allowed to fish in Kenyas new economic exclusive zone.

Red is Yemeni proposal and de facto rulership
However Somalia has never never recognised it since independence , the Yemeni remains illegal.
The danger right now is the Kenyans..! the deadline is less than 30 days away from us .
Both Somaliland and Puntland are losing strategic ownership and natural rescources.
I don't know which one is more critical the Yemeni stealing of Somalilands offshore basin and possible billions of barrels oil.
Or Puntlands territorial waters being shrinked 90 % at the extreme east point and eastern coastline.
We must adresse this matter also.

In MAY 2009 WE WILL LOSE OUR WATERS

maybe this is a false alarm after all:
1- Only one source (neither kenyan nor Somali press reported this)
2- No evidence of Kenyan foreign minister going to Somalia.
3- No evidence of Somali PM leaving Mogadishu airport.
4- Somali gov. denied the allegations.

While today's news may or may not be a false alarm, the truth is that the larger report on somalitalk is real and imminent. I think our best friend is the author of that report.

Lander, your awfully emotional about these lost waters but your from somaliland, why do you care. Your end game is to separate from somalia so if somalia loses water or kenya it doesn't concern you.

To the rest this is what happens when you cant observe any kind of rules in the high seas, the west will work against you and find ways through their so called world organization to punish you..

General, read the report.

Somaliland will be affected, our coastal waters are that of 'Somalia's', any signing of of water boundaries will be done through any administration in the South, Somaliland doesn't have any say in this.

Admin take a look at these links
http://www.un.org/Depts/los/LEGISLATION ... ES/KEN.htm

http://www.un.org/Depts/los/LEGISLATION ... 8_2006.pdf

The second link see page 3 and zoom direct into the Kenyan/Somali border point.
Kenya has provided new coordinates of demarcation between Somalia and Kenya.
It will expand the Kenyan exclusive zone 363 km northwards into our waters.

Image <---------------------------

Admin take a good look at Kenyas new proposed map.. this is the official provided by Kenyas government.
How can it be a hoax? The redrawings have been worked in the period between 2006-2009 and is to be completed in may 2009 when the UNCLOS starts the application study.

Xinhua is a very reliable source
they were the first to report about ONLF raiding oil installations and A/Y's special deal with CNOOC oil.

http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2009- ... 129376.htm

The article is only 72 hours old.
We need the TFG government to explain this new map made by KENYA
I don't regret putting this up saaxib , we must follow it to the end.

And for you GeneralSNM
I choose to be Nationalist , its not about Somaliland its about us a whole.

Lander how are you being a nationalist are you :sland: or :som: ?

Calio, it doesnt effect somaliland as such, but it effects Puntland greatly. I think its payback for their so-called navies ambtious efforts to police their waters. Now they pirates wont have the excuse of policing their waters since the waters dont belong to them..
I think this was a well thought out plan driven from powers bigger then yemen or Kenya. The west has encouraged them to take these steps, to shrink the somali waters. And the TFG a product of outsiders protected with their armies is only locking out for their guardians interest..

Somalia reminds me of a Orphan.....
