There is absolutely no point in renegotiating our waters again with the bantus others than them to gain those extra miles in xaraam way.

The government needs to explain what was going on in the negotiations. There may be some quid-pro-quo or other logic or finding behind this that has not yet come out. For the President's sake, I hope so.

Historically speaking, the inhabitants of that area are Bajunis, a non-Somali people culturally and linguistically linked to Lamu and the Swahili culture. If this is the basis of the claim, then Kenya and the world need to be reminded of the Somali ethinic presence in the NFD.

Somali piracy is what has enforced these latest planning of decreasing somali territorial waters hence we can't deal with the problem. Where are those who claim piracy is good for the people?

The Puntland authorities could have easily cracked down on piracy activities, they lack will mainly due to the fact that their own government officials are part of these crimes.
The incompetent hotel government in the South are not helping the situation and prove they lack common sense and good judgment. If they can't protect our waters for the long term benefits that can involve then there's no way in hell that they will be able to do anything positive for the people on their soil.

Somaliland needs to wake up from their illusion of becoming a seperate entity, their coastal waters are being signed of by the hotel government.
