I can tell you the so many ways Rivaldo is better than Zidane but can you tell you 1 area where Zidane is better?

Rivaldo is not only better than Zidane when it comes to shooting but he's maybe the greatest shooter ever.

Rivaldo is better in set piece and freekicks.

Rivaldo is better in overhead kicks and everything

Tell me when Zidane has ever scored more than 15 goals a season let alone becoming the league's top scorer for 4 consequtive seasons. Even though Rivaldo was an attacking midfielder he was able to hit more than 20 goals in the league alone every season he has been in Barca. I am not taking away anything from Zizou but he was a pupil of the game whereas Rivaldo was a master.

Ahahaha you mad? I can tell you lack any basic knowledge regarding football. Rivaldo is a better player because he is better with overhead kicks. Mate your focking retarded, overhead kicks doesnt really prove the ability of a footballer. Zidane is a much more complete footballer, ask any professional footballer the best player in this generation and zidane will come out top everytime. Furthermore rivaldo is second to ronaldo as the most talented brazilian in the last 15 years or so. Rivaldos right foot didnt exist, zizou you couldnt tell which was his better foot. Zidane = Frances sucess.

I dont even know why i'm replying to someone who learnt his footie knowledge from wikipedia, stick to basketball and NFL, you rookie.

Jam street, weren't you a fan of Eric Cantana? Why switch to Brasil all of a sudden?

Is that Zidane’s greatest game? And you are telling me he is better than Rivaldo?

What did he do there that is out of the ordinary? Passing and dribbling the ball past a player or two is something which any footballer can do but what Rivaldo did to Valencia is something not even some of the greats of the game can do.

You think you are doing Zizou a favour but you are disgracing the guy coming up with that highlight. I am sure there are other games he played better than that.

I told you Rivaldo can shoot the ball better; he can execute dead ball situations better; he is a better passer even though he’s sometimes selfish and he can do some magic (like the overhead kick) which Zidane can’t do. So, instead of repeating what I said tell me what Zidane can do better than Rivaldo?

Mohamed Ali is the greatest boxer because he would not just win fights but he would also predict the manner in which he would win a lot of the times. Rivaldo was like that. This man would face the media and tell them in fearless manner what he would do to the opposing team before the match. I remember how he was saying the real Rivaldo will show up for that Valencia match a day before the game since it was the last match of the season and when a player can back his words up with action like Rivaldo has done so many times in his career, it should give you an indication of what he is capable of.

It's hard to decide what single player is the ultimate best on an international level. But if i had to choose one individual, it'd be Johan Cryuff. This footballer is a masterpiece of 'total football'. His ability to manouevor such skills at a moment where your average footballer would be flawed in a second is incredible. His pace, dribbling and overall game play made him win those record player of the year awards in the seventies.

Ok, this looks a bit too much like a 'male only topic', but i couldn’t resist.. on the note of World Cup '98 and funny commentaries...

An Orange moment i can never forget... before Ronaldo killed the Orange dream

ps: Barcelona was practically a Dutch team at one point...
