The young westernised somali knows from experience that the only way to go is marry someone u have something in common with. Yes u can marry cadaan with 6 figure but u gotta add a somali bride to give u pure somali chicklets. Otherwise, somali society will judge u.

True, nobody can lie to you for so long. Not if you do your research beforehand, and got detectives in every corner lol. So what happened to him now? Did the American girl leave him? It seemed like he had it all. Humans eh? They're never satisfied with what they have, waxkale uun ee rabaan inee bursadaan intaas..lol
Firefly the good people like me intervened on time and advised him not to proceed. they were separate for 2 years, in different states, but never got divorced. he tried very hard on his end to complete the deal, but mashallah it never did. he finally moved from our states to hers. plus i didnt tell you they had 1 son while this was happening

Madd I understand that and I might be more empathetic if I knew the circumstance lakin the fact will always remain a lie is a lie, haram is haram, illegal is illegal. I don't see the point of feigning ignorance to 'safeguard the means to which you've been accustomed to' sounds like gold digging on a gangster to me

Basra Stepford wives are the cream of the crop...no unlady-like digging involved in attaining diamonds. If you cannot bring yourself to the standard required to woo a wealthy and generous man then I suppose struggling in the dirt for your pittance will have to suffice. Oh how I pity the likes of you...commoners!

everyone lies bv, everyone also knows what's xaraam and what isn't, they know right from wrong. the issue is finding out
why a person decided to lie etc. no-one said anything about being ignorant to what he's done/doing but the question is what will you do when you find out? "the means" isn't a gangster, but it could just as well be your husband. would you not safeguard him in the sense that you'd actually try and find out why he did what he did? what the circumstances were?

Madd Yes I would probably out of curiousity go to find out lakin I would be extremely pissed about his dishonesty and my stupidity. How can you ever trust someone who lied to you about something that basic? I guess it's easy to talk about it hypothetically. Ilaheey hanagakoriyo.
I am?
