Zuliekha,

It depends on the situation at hand and how far someone is deep in that lie. Example, if a man lies to a girl about his marital history before he married her and she finds out after few years when she already have 3 kids...It will be difficult for the mother to leave him..Because he didn't tell her that he married before and divorced...

But don't forget about the famous Somali saying...
