Before talking about others, we have to ask ourselves if we Somalis can respect or understand each other. After respecting and understanding then we can go one more step to unite the weakened Somali nation not to forget getting the Somali lands in Ethiopia and Kenya back.

I have a big respect for every nation but that doesnot mean I will forgive those who divided my nation and took its lands in the bad days of my people.

Wake up my people.

u and every qawiilist see everything from the prism of your qawiil and u dudes (all somalis) defend other countries and in your case pakistan and call for somalinimo. i was always against those who worship their tribal heroes and to be blunt with you for the last 20 years hawiye people had every opportunity and could not produce a leader like siad barre.

aydiid
ali mahdi
abdiqasim
sheikh sharif

you hawiye dudes are becoming (stupid analogy) like a woman. no one knows what you want.

this dude mentions in a good note not only siad barre but brave generals and smart somali diplomats who were not marehans. the ball is in your court. this is the last hawiye opportunity.

Bro, I am disgusted with Hawiye right now. The president is some-one who has his head in the sand

"Ethiopians knew Somalis as the hardest nuts to break. As some of the most resilient human beings any one knows in Africa. Men and women of bravery and deep nationalism. We feared Ziad Bari, the man many Ethiopian generals believe as the last true Somali. Every single Ethiopian child of the last 30 years or so grew up hearing this

Mighty man who can move mountains of people in one go and crush mighty Ethiopia in a matter of two weeks to the ground.
"

cool i was gonna quote that too Lol

yeah, even our enemies admires us, as i said many times before we seriously need to respect and honor the Kacaan and former President Mohamed Siyaad Barre(aun) the Best in Africa  :som: :som: :som:

to be honest the first time i came across a Hawiyo who hates and disrespects the late president was here on Somalinet

i seriously hope the new generation picks up on the achievements and history of the Kacaan, Darwiish and Ahmed Gureys quest, without the rich somali history and role models like MSB(aun) and others, we woulden have anything to look up to and try to achieve and improve

That was pwetty good.

Even though Said Bare was a......%%%%%%%%%% and sooo........ *i'm not going to low myself and diss a dead man*, but at least he was a nationalist and he made our enemies shook.

Somalia needs a true wadaani regardless of his clan.

you just dissed him and then you say *i'm not going to low myself and diss a dead man*, ridiculous

what ever he did in his personal life, its not my business, but he did fulfill the requirements to be known as one of the best leader in the world, and it would make sense to take notes and study his achievements so we can replicate them and also learn from the mistake, not that i think fighting SNM was a mistake :|

Islam teaches us to not judge a person only by his bad deeds, but to balance his good deeds with his bad deeds, having said that Allah makes the final judgment and this man is dead so let him rest in peace, he did what he could for Somalia

That will never happen, not in our lifetime anyway. To reason in such way, it requires accountability and building trust. Neither is something we want to work on. Every Somali group know what they did and where they went wrong, but they will never take responsibility for their actions or seek forgiveness.
Its always easier to blame your own problems on others, while digging a deeper hole for yourself, and that is the reality in Somalia and for Somalis.
