Dude I own a blackberry storm, and it's far from useless, in fact probably one of the best phones out their, I can honestly say it's even better than the iphone.

The Iphone 3G did well to get second considering that only AT&T offers that phone, while Blackberry is offered by Sprint, ATT, T-mobile and Verizon. Basbuur, did you hear that Verizon want to get the iphone for their customer and AT&T want to block it?

Apple asked ATT to match whatever Verizon want to put, smart move from Apple

BTW, I own an iphone 3g black one, and it's the real deal, one of the best phones. I also had Blackberry storm, nice but it freezes all the time and it's confusing

Cawar, Nokia phones never disappoint so I think you should get a Nokia phone. They are guaranteed to work in Africa. Your second options is Sony Ericsson. Whatever you do don't get a samsung or an LG phone, those are pain in the ass and hard to unlock

Get Sony Ericson W910, W810 or any 'W' Series and you wont' be disappointed

I don't think It will work in Africa. Of course it works there if you used your North American sim(roaming) , but it won't work with an African sim period. South Africa will be the first to get it form what I heard

i've had my iphone since last august and im sorry to say, but i don't like it at all. it's useless without the internet!!!

everything is a damn application. the only good thing about it is the camera!! to send and receive pictures i had to pay $8

everytime u update the software, everything gets deleted. ur contact list etc.

but i must say, if u have internet it's great. except i refuse to pay an extra $40 a month just for stupid internet connection.
