Somali Fabrication of history Endemic

Postby SomaliAmir » Thu May 07, 2009 3:19 pm

I always assume only on snet do people fabricate history but apparently even our so called scholars fabricate history

for example take a look at this map generated by our so called scholar http://www.flickr.com/photos/21569308@N07/2549280530/

this map would have us believe that the old islamic Sultante of the horn Dawaro, Ifat, Hadiya were all located in present day Somalia and the adjacent somali territory when in fact
only Zayla or Adal was the only state that border Somali territory

now take a look at a map that "most scholar" would agree is the distribution of political entities in the horn of Africa in the early middle ages
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:EthioPlaceNamesBlank.png

so my question is why the subterfuge, is out of ignorance or for political reason or have somalis become so disallusion with themselve and failers of the last 20 years that they are willing to fabricate history to feel good about themselves.

so my question is why can we be proud of our Geeljire heritage rather than stealing it from others.
