I hate the fact that I have to shave every 2-3 days..maybe I should grow beard.

2-3 days? that's a lot. i don't shave, only trim it probably once every 2 weeks.

Growing a beard is requirement, it is fard as the brother said. Also, men who shave are imitating women, you should listen to God and grow your beards.
