lets say a reer baadiye man makes $3 a day in the miyi... but he can make $8 in the city...

but he lives in the slum...is he better off? the UN development index says he is... but he is worse off

If I were a bedoiun who all her animals were dead because of the drought, who can't get the basic needs for health care, who is not sure if the next minute will be safe or not because the lack of basic security forces, wouldnt be a bit logic to move to another place hoping that the grass is greener in the other side of the fence.

Besides in the LDCs, the capital or big cities attract country's whole citizens for the sake of getting more job opportunities, education, healthcare...etc. Imagine if Mogadisho was not the center of everything during the Bare regime, so many things would have been different today.
