I've noticed how names of cities in Somalia are quite odd, and funny. I laugh every time my sisters talk about Xamar JaJab, and I'm thinkin', maxa jajabiyay bal?

I'd like to find out the stories behind the names - it must be really interesting. They had no post codes xataa in Somalia. They'd go by 'Xafaad hebel etc..

Diinsoor sounds nice actually. Have you come across Dhuuso Mareeb yet?

Iskushuban is located somewhere north east of Qardho in Bari region and I think it is also the name of an admistrative district.

How about Buulloxaar? some place have got realy stupid names, I don't know who came up with such names

Af-Gooye is actually quite nice. I saw it on Somali tv, people who live there look quite peaceful.
