My dad likes the animal planet channel, BBC channel, old movies like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and all Roger Moore & Sean Connery movies of James Bond. He loves all kinds of wordcross and when he is in a good mood, he is a walking encyclopedia, he is not a man of many words but a man of great mind, i just adore him

My mom loves CNN, arabic tv dramas and I have been convincing her lately that forensic files show is wonderful to watch but she thinks i am being too violent for her taste, she is such a wonderful lady

Chuck Norris's Walker Texas Ranger use to be my show for awhile. But my pops sure does watch it. He hates Fox News but BBC world iyo NBC news is his Sh!d. John Wayne iyo his likes are what he watches most of the time.

My moms doesn't watch T.V much other than Major news. But she never skips her daily take of BBC Somali iyo VOA now adays

My mom likes those women movies that come on lifetime channel

My mum knows how to use the net, she goes on Hiiraan and reads the news, goes to SheikhBoqolSoon(aun) website and other ones.

She doesn't know how to use it very well though.

As for T.V. she likes musalslat etc

^ My parents use the net too, but they browse beyond Hiiraan and other Somali sites. Once, I left Snet open whilst I went to go grab something..My father read a post from Emperior and thought he was utterly retarded.

Dad: The television is always on The History Channel, PBS, or some sports channel ( soccer, basketball and UFC). He also watches Lost, NCIS and Seinfeld.

Mom: loves all those boring and redundant movies on the Women's Network. She can never miss an episode of 20/20, Dateline NBC, or her soaps. Other than that, it's either CNN, her soaps or one of those cheesy comedies on NBC/ABC/CBS ( i.e. - The New Adventures of blahblahblah).
