emperior, somaliland is not the paradise the video implies. Ofcourse when you compare it to the chaos down the south it looks that way.

Then again that's how the level and ambition of our people have sunk to. few jpg images of non broken homes and few standing trees here and there and all of a sudden its the greatest land on earth.

My cousin is in italy at the moment. He did'nt fly their from burco. He reached their by foot and boat. I am sure you know the reasons why he and thousands of other somalis flee the safety of their homes in somaliland to risk their lives to reach europe and middle east. I am sure you can work it out.

You see that's the difference between me and other people. They are satisfied with with the peace of slavery. The peace of beggary and poor. The pathetic status quo. languishing with absolutely nothing to show for. You see, I want somaliland to be like other countries. That has a functioning economy, a national infrastructure, jobs, investment, a stable police force, a navy to protect our waters, national institutions, a decent standard of living etc.

That's what we somalilanders should aim for. And to that we cannot live like a limbo like the last 18 years. we are still stuck in 1991. Time to get rid of that isolationism mentality that has been holding us back for the last 18 years. Time to retrace our steps just like our founding fathers back in 1960s

Well you do know Somaliland is an African country its not new York. But with the right mentality and the right support with great leaders. We will achieve all of our goals.
Somaliland looks 1000 times better when it was during the siyadist regime, when we where part of Somalia our regions where neglected. But today we build everything with our own strength
Why cant you see all the progress that has been made and unity of the Somaliland people in these time.

My mom's friend was telling us she end up in southall. all the way from somalia, the trips she took, by foot, by boat. the countries she travelled, from somalia, djabuti,yamen, italy russia other western Europian countries, all the way to london. walahi waan kanaxay. we are so lucky compare to some people. i couldnt help but cry that day!
