Did you said Jaad you are asking 40 lashes from Alshabaab :lol: :lol: I wouldn’t advocate for that drug to be farmed any place in Somalia other than its original home Wajaale. Jaad is synonymous with insolvent.

Buurdhuubo is on low elevation because of it location on the Jubba river, Khaat need high elevation climate like Hargeisa, Wajaale, Jijiga or Ceerigaabo, there are places in Gedo on High elevations that Khat can be cultivated like Dhamasa, Nageyle is good place to farm Khat and Coffee, but again go for Coffee Khaat is addictive drug that destroys families.

But brother there are other crops that is more profitable than Khat that can be grown in Gedo, for example Banana, Mango, Strawberry, Raspberry, peach, Olive, Sesame etc…
