SomaliMirror is a good source. They had the only pics of all Hizbul Islam wing leaders when they merged. BeentaCusub is by far the worst Somali site, competing with Dayniile.

They have reporters based in as many deep corners as Benadir all the way to Afmadow.

I don't get what positive outcome will rise if this Hawiye gov't defeats Al-Shabaab.

It'll just be Hawiye civil war just like 1992, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2006, etc. etc. etc.

It seems like every time Hawiye defeat some bigger foe, they fight between themselves, and even when a winner comes out of that battle, they start fighting between sub-clans, and sub-sub-clans. Shit.

The tunnel's end is a million dead Hawiyes regardless of how far Sharif's gov't comes and every day his men fire a bullet, he's only extending or rushing towards yet another painful Hawiye chapter.

Face music, H people, and tell me why you're so giddy about a gov't victory?
