Hopefully these veterans were the ones that served our country well rather than destroying it. Somalia def needs a strong military apparatus just like the one in Pakistan. Any Moryaan or Sheikh that goes astray should be delt with accordingly.

Pakistan is not a bad example. In a manner of speaking, all of Somalia's successful governments have been military. The colonial sequel was a foreign institution that really didn't last long enough to count.

I think it is worth making the point again that these taxi drivers and security guards are some of the last national officers left. It could be a good thing for them to be empowered.
