I always find it awkward when the subject of qawiil is raised in shukaansi. Be it the trying to find your qawiil and people making wrong assumptions based on where you were born or are related to.
I remember how odd it was when i had to hide I was attending qawiil meetings from my g/friend of 3 years or not take any phone calls from my cappo qabiil cousin in her presence because she was very sensitive about the animosity between our qawiils and I did not want her to get any ideas.
Just never understood why anyone would marry into another qawiil with whom yours fight or at a war with.
Sometimes, ajanabiga inaad iska guursado ba ku qabanayso just to avoid the sick men amongst us.
