The first time I fell in love, it was with my English teacher. Looking back now, I can see how mad I was. She was ugly and had breasts so saggy and big they almost reached her bellybutton. But I was young and she was clever and love was inevitable. It was unrequited love though.

The second time, it was with the Pakistani girl at my local shop. Every Saturday and Sunday her parents would ask her to look after the shop and she would sit there with an unhappy face and an unfriendly attitude. But I would still go there and try to make conversation while pretending to buy some of the nonsense they sold. She eventually told me she was not interested (in eventually, I mean months later).

I fall in love all the time now. It’s all about the perception not the image itself.
