Zuli,
This is the moon sequence:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Houston_we_ha ... lo_mission"There were three unmanned missions launched off of a Saturn IB before the fire. These were known as AS-201, 202, and 203, informally known as Apollo 1, 2, and 3.
"Apollo 1", which was never launched because of the fire, was AS-204.
They then picked back up with the original numbering for the first flight of the Apollo Saturn V, which was AS-501, or Apollo 4.
They then used the Saturn IB that would have launched AS-204, and called it AS-205. It was a LM test.
The Second Saturn V was AS-502. It was known as Apollo 6.
The next was AS-206, the first manned mission, known as Apollo 7.
The Saturn Vs then were used for Apollos 8 - 17, a total of ten, numbered AS-503 through AS-512.
The Skylab Orbital Workshop was AS-513, the last of the line. It's sometimes known as Skylab 1.
The three crews to Skylab were AS-207 through 209. Usually they're known as Skylab 1 through 3, but sometimes they're known as Skylab 2 through 4.
Then there was Apollo-Soyuz, which was AS-210. "
In case you havn't noticed, these flights are relativley expensive. Why get repetitive? It was decided that skylab, which became the international space station, and other projects, such as Mars, the Solar System and the universe, would be more productive. The Hubble telescope? You are not aware of these and other continuing projects?
