Lets say if this federal idea would be installed in Somalia parts of northern Somalia is build and got stable infrastructure while the south is in ruin right , and a new government will come in power in 2011, and he will swift all the power from Mogadishu to garowe and build north somalia with the international money that is given to the so called tfg from the international community , there will be a big gap between north Somalia and Mogadishu and more division, which wont bring the people of somalia together. So a national unity government of sh sharif is a good begin in somalia.

They want their clan states to monopolize resources and commerces inside that state, there is no benefit of any higher national cause with that i.e. no sharing and thats mostly because of the bullshid that happened nearly 2 decades ago.
It'd be like the USA during the Articles of Confederation

What's wrong with a clan that knows how to play the game well?

Thats not federalism. And there is no national agenda there, its just "my clan gets rich, while we rule the rest of the country"

Federalism works in a country split by regional political/social interests, not clan or ethnic interests. Just compare the US or Germany to Ethiopia - see the difference.
I'm sure though, Somalia as fucked up as it is, can't get any worse whether we apply federalism or villagism. Somalia is in no condition to function let alone pick a system of governance.
To be honest, even meriting a Sheikh Hotel topic with a reply is a waste of time, so lets wait a few months (or possibly years, maybe 20-30) for something to happen so nationwide decisions will actually have real effect.
