a 4 y. old is a little too young for gaming but if you must, I'd suggest getting him a nintendo DSi...you'll save about 50 bucks vs. the wii and much more if you were thinking about an Xbox 360 or a ps3...
Plus the child won't be sitting in front of the tv the whole day and he'll have a ball with the camera, taking pictures and playing around with them
