Alice in wonderland appealed to me on so many levels as a child. It was the Wizard of Oz that I loathed.

Plus...Alice is a child...how can they ask Anne to do it (as much as I love her) I dont think this role is fit for her....I would have chosen Dekota Fanning.

Anne does not play Alice. She plays the white queen.

This movie is supposed to be about Alices return to wonderland after 10 years. This explains why she looks older in the trailer.
