Thank You Facebook

Last night I reconnected with my childhood friend on facebook. We lost contact after her family moved back to Greece in 7th grade. I was up talking to her till 3 this morning, and could comprehend nothing that was said at this morning's staff meeting...but oh well.
For the first time, I actually think facebook is useful.

ISmahan,
I found a friend of mine whom I last saw in 1982. It was great reconnecting after over 27 years. He hasn't changed since the days we rolled in primary school.
Btw, how come you ain't my friend on FB ?

Ismahan,
Abayo, you got to wonder how a Xalimo from AZ gets married to a Farax from Maine and both are your mutual friends who never met before FB.
When my pic was not set on private, I was getting about 3-4 random friend requests from Xalimos all over the States, Canada and UK. I accepted a few and then they hit me up with some shukaansi. Unfortunately, I believe in keeping it locally (50 miles of my home) rather than LD.

I am too old for this conversation but not too old for learning. Ismahan, how old would one be when they're in 'grade seven'? Eleven? Nine?
