4 days ago, we had the saddest and most unfortunate news here in Birmingham (UK).

A young and well know Brummy kid who was about 17 years old has been sent 1 year and half ago by his mum to Africa, particularly to awdal (borama) in order to receive some home schooling (what we call dhagaan celis).

The kid was an orphan at the very young age and have been brought up by his mum. The only option at this cross road of self awareness was to be sent back home.

The point is, the kid was doing all fine during all this time when 5 days ago he has been stabbed several time and killed on the spot by a resident of the city.

The problem in somalia is when murderers knows that they will get away by paying blood money.

I don't know how old the murderer was, but i was told that the 17 years old victim had an ambition to work back home.
his mum set him up a shop in the city.

And what i have heard the murderer was trying to "chaxaad" hustle the victim for khat (inallelaah).
the 17 years old victim refused him to buy some khat.

and the murderer got angry and stabbed couple of times in the back, heart and kidney.

All this for khat apparently
