Yea I know that soor, but I was thinking this soor had a different meaning

Diinsoor=religion and the food soor....makes no sense

Shirib, I think soor also means to sort things out. Waxaan ii kala soor dad dhahayo weligaa ma maqal. But I still think this soor in the city names refers to the grinded maize soor.

Gelinsoor=place to enter gritz

nah it doesn't make sense, I think soor has to mean something else in this case
