I was laughing so hard at all your little descriptions until i realized its not funny but a very serious phenominon that needs to be changed. I belive this is ingrained in our genes and nothing much can be done. Adeer, don't get Me wrong ofcourse they should be treated better. However theres a way to ask for better treatment and its not protesting in a Country that You didn't even live in legally in the 1st place. However bad the Greek treated them its probably not .00001% as bad as Somalis back in Somalia treated them, so they should at least calm down a little bit, and ofcourse it isn't wise for them to be having "Soomalia ha nolaato" demonstrations in their streets, When they went through adaab leaving that Country!

sbhanaalaah if you were in there position murax you would've done exactly the same thing. Why do we act bigger and better than those that are worse off? Me, you and the rest in snetters are lucky because we the ones that escaped or our parents escaped. You have to know that these people have no where to go, they literally have no place to go, this is their only chance of better life; by coming into Greece and hopefully escaping to rest of Europe. These ones are the ones that were in refugee camps. Is either escape or in the refugee camps. So before you call on any embassy, think!! if that was you or your family in that position, what would you have done!? Would you stay in that refugee camps or escape to anywhere that would give you a chance, a hope a glimpse of better life?!

Some of us ‘westernised’ Somalis are mindboggling selfish; we don’t want any Somalis to make something out of their lives. I know it seems wrong in what they doing, but it isn’t, why!? Because they want better life, they want food and shelter and better education. Under the eyes of Allah every human being has a right to that, so before you all act you know better than them, you all should email human rights organisations letting them know that you upset and hurt by the way Somalis are treated in Greece, just show some sympathy, after all no one, NO ONE wants to put themselves in such position. If they had their way they would live in peaceful Somalia, their children going to top notch education and working like law abiding citizen paying their tax. No one chooses to have bad life; it just happened to be them, so say al hamdulilaah, email some organisations showing your compassion and remember them in every prayer.

but why cause ruckus on streets of a foreign country that is enforcing its laws on illegal immigration? and when they do enforce the law, the somalis get all mad and start running down the street singing somaliyey tooso and waving the flag from the country and people they ran the hell away from! The Greek government doesn't owe Somalis anything, the EU doesn't owe them anything. They are aliens from another territory.

Surrender, You are most kind. I must have been insensitive to their plight even though I found their singing of the national anthem a bit out of place. It bothers me to see the plight of many somalis who left somalia risking their life only to end up in jails, prostitution, and lead a life of misery. In my opinion, staying in many parts of Somalia nowadays is less risky than venturing into the unknown. If someone can't find a safe means of coming to the west, they should stay put.
