What a surprise. A biased little ref at OT? Surely not.
United once again the officials’ favourite club. Despicable match by the pathetic excuse for a ref. Fletcher on Arshavin was the most blatant penalty…but alas, this is OT remember, where decisions always go in favour of the reds. Moment of sheer and utter madness by Diaby , but Shrek was always looking for that penalty, going down even before he was touched. And never would that ref denied him one even if he were 5 yards away from Almunia before he collapsed in an oafish heap. With United leading towards injury time, it was quite shocking to see 5minutes being displayed. You’d have thought 0-1minute would be just enough for a bit of time wasting…but hey, I guess they didn’t want to look to obvious.
United gave the game to Arsenal on a plate, what with Valencia playing atrociously and their midfield playing shit in most of the match. But the damn gooners just couldn’t finish them off. It doesnt help with every tackle,tumble or any 50/50 decsion going against them since Eduardogate.
Damn Eboue..lol.
Only good thing is that this game was played early in the season. Better than playing them with the end result being much more crucial.
