GAROWE, Somalia, July 7 /U.S. Newswire/ -- President Abdulahi Yusuf Ahmed today condemned the series of blasts in London and expressed sympathies to the families of those injured and killed in this act of terrorism.

"The attacks perpetrated in London are outrageous. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the people of the United Kingdom. We stand with the world in seeing these terror acts as violation against all nations and the values of humanity," President Abdulahi Yusuf Ahmed remarked following the bombings in London.

Most Somalis in Somalia were probably afraid for their daughters, sons, brothers, Sisters and third cousins who only last month sent them 50 pounds to take their kids in for a medical exam. It was probably one of the few times when they felt concern for the well-being of people OUTSIDE of Somalia.
