Windows 7 anybody have it?

I have a Vista on my HP laptop and a friend of mine said he has the new Window 7, should I get the window 7 and how it's compared to XP and Vista. I love Vista, but if Window 7 is better I don't mind upgrading...

Anybody got Window 7 yet?

is it not out in oct? I found vista awful, but this new operating software has got rave reviews so far. How you planning to upgrade? torrents or buying it legit

Ive been trying the Windows 7Release candidate, and when the final is released, itll kick Vistas ass.

Nobleman, This friend of mine have it so he's going to lend me to download it to my HP. And yeah It came just five days ago in the U.S

Vista is really cool, though XP is better but I like the graphics in Vista

U liked Vista? I hate that thing with passion, XP is a million times better. I just bought a new laptop, and thankfully it has a free Windows 7 Upgrade when it gets out

Vista is nice when it comes with the laptop. The thing is a lot of people upgrade XP to Vista and there you have alot of problems as result of that upgrade. If you have Vista genuine, you shouldn't have any problems at all

I just hate how slow Vista is compared to XP, and Vista runs a lot of unnecessary junk

I've heard good reviews on Windows 7, I'm definitely upgrading to that cause, Vista sucks.

Do u know anything about 7?

Shirib,

The problem with Microsoft is that they produce garbage OS and then produce one that has less garbage than the previous one. Therefore you think you are getting a better OS when its still garbage just smells less.

If you can get a student discount, get an Apple :up:

Its much cheaper in the long run if you factor in Viruses, Spyware, and system failures endemic to Microsoft

I have both Apple and Microsoft, and I have to agree Apple is way better, but the thing I hate about Apple is you will need a lot of time to learn the functions :down:

I spend an hour trying to figure away to take screen shot with my Apple laptop while I takes 20 seconds to do it in Windows

Its like learning to drive stick in the States, you will rarely find a stick vehicle here but its always good to know how to drive one

I bought a new HP laptop last month and it came with Vista, but they will upgrade it to Window 7 in October when it comes out, I have no issues with Vista so far though.

7 is by FAR superior to anything MS has done in the past
