Window 7 won't be out till October 22, 2009, I'm pretty sure noones got it yet, but from the looks of it, it's decent :up:

It's been a while since I was their, I'm heading back sometime this spring break inshallahi. Although New Zealand is much more suitable place for me.

He's not mistaken. Those who tried the Windows 7 Release Candidate(like myself), were offered an upgrade before it's public release.

To really enjoy Linux, you must be familiar with UNIX....Plus point of Linux is that it has a rock solid security, unlike windows. So if you have something to hide from the world use Linux. Windows in the other hand, have long been the victim of security loopholes. What ever they've tried doing, never worked and people still find it easy to crack.

P.s Linux is an open source and perhaps one day you may produce your own code and an operating system on your own.


I see windows as just a money making machine for Microsoft and not an operating system.

Security wise and code writing, yes. But other'n that, Windows kills it.

Nabeela and Rabshoole, It's out guys I just got it today, and I am impressed. Extremely wonderful, I am sure this software will be better than anything that's out there today. I have screen shots for both of yo'll since it seems you guys don't believe me ...

lol It's nice. The one thing You'll notice right away is the speed, dmn this is blazing fast, even faster than the Apple one I have.

BTW, why do you have to wait till October? do an online upgrade right now if you just got it last month :up:
