My family moved around a bit.

In 1963 or 64, my dad's pop bought a house in Waberi neighborhood, the first reer Jamaame to do so. 8-)

In the late 70s to early 80s my dad settled down and bought a place in Madina neighborhood, pretty much built his status and our family, then in 1988 or 89 he moved the family to Hodan neighborhood. He lived there until the war. In 1998, a Habar Gidir fella offered him $10,000 for the title to our old house in Hodan and my dad took the offer.

That's life for ya.

Paidmonk,

Same here Man. A HG bought our home for about 50k from My Dad, for a house in Xamar Jadiid. People thought We were getting ripped off. Today that whole neighborhood is bombed out, and the city hasn't been livable for 20 years. Great move

If that is your eye, you have cute eyes..........at least to me.

But that is Rich Boy. Drop. Xamar Jajab as opposed to xamar jadiid. It just means it was an old neighborhood.
