On Friday Sept 25th, as some of might already be aware of Imam Abdulmalik had made arrangements and secured a permission to perform the Friday Juma prayer in front of Capitol Hill. This is ever historic moment in which muslim are coming united not for protesting but rather to invite this nation to Islam. A day of unity and prayer at the gates of the policy makers and the spin masters to meet islam face to face. Over 50,000 prayers are expected, please come join this historical event in America that will define & shape the future of Islam in America. Contact your local masjid, there are over 500 buses reserved that will provide transportation from most states. If you have families in DMV area, please make sure they are aware of this event and invite them to join the prayer.

The Athan will be chanted on Capitol Hill, echoing off of the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and other great edifices that surround Capitol Hill
Thousands of Muslims from all races, creeds, colors and ethnicities will gather for the sole purpose of prayer
Bonds of friendship will be formed between those in attendance, both Muslims and Non-Muslims
Muslim youth will experience tours of the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court.
The peace, beauty and solidarity of Islam will shine through America's capitol.

PS: Big ups for the Organizers of this event. We need Islam to have a visible presence in America. I wonder though what sort of ammunition this event will give to the already extreme tea-party right-wing groups who accused Obama to be taking over America. Not that I care what they think, but it is interesting to follow their paranoia on TV after this event.

Don't you think they should at least give ppl a couple months or a Year to get the largest numbers and organize well, with the city and state police. Instead of just trying to get large crowds of people together in a couple weeks from thousands of miles?

They could made this on Eidul Adhaa, the big Eid, which will be a couple months away.
