Half of Dhulos are called Reer-Nugaleed (North, East & West Sool, Sanaag) The other half are Reer Hawd (South Sool, Toogdher,Ogadenia)

On historical note, Nugaal was the traditional land of Dhullos before Barre split this region into Sool and Nugaal in 1988.
Sool is a traditional land for Warsans and some Dhullos like the Sool Plateau---its source.

Anyway, it's all good. I hope the old Fai projects to be revived and realized, esp the road from Boosaaso to Erigavo.

Ps. Cusmano, you are a fair analyst of PL's local affairs and you are a good writer but please use Capital Letters for all names, locations, dates and important landmarks and events. You'll get better with time and learning from veterans like Babygirl.

originally nugaal was the pasturing land of dhulbahante which were most of eastern sool, large area of sanaag. nugaal refers to places such as xilin, nugaal gudon, nugaal valley. when somali gained its independence in 1961 they somali decided to create regions or gobols. so it lascaanood and garowe and made them the same and it decided to name the gobol after the famous nugaal since must of the nugaal came under the new gobol. but in 1984 sool was created and it covered all of the of the originally nugaal areas.

xamud, sxb boocame is in sool so is all of nugaal (actual nugaal). forget about burtinle garowe is not even in nugaal, the name was just given to them president sharmake

Building a port costs a lot of money and I am quite amazed at how much time was spent in planning this project. It is very well thought out :up:

Amazing lady! She does all of that solar power stuff too, doesn't she?

Highland, everything in postwar Somalia has been built without any Government being place, and this def. looks to be another success story. Whats current predicted date for the finishing of this project? I hear its already been delayed much due to seafarer instabilities iyo equipment delay. :down:
