Somalis & Hotels

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Wed Sep 30, 2009 9:36 am

I can't understand why people who can afford hotels want to inconvenience you & stay with you. Seriously, when I visit your city, I don't put you out and fork over $$ to rent a hotel, get my rental vehicle and at the most may have lunch at your crib. However, why do you want to inconvenience someone when you can afford to pony up some cash & pay for your hotel ?

Anyone know a service that rents pets say a big Alsatian ?

I honestly don't understand why people love to create these inconvenience  I personally don't like doing that.

What annoys me is when someone calls:

"Pick me up from Baltimore Airport!!!!!" Why would you ask someone to get you from that far airport when you could use Dalas or National? Just to save $100.00-200.00? Acuudu Bilaah..Some people are just leeches... I hate to ask...Bisimilaahiyow..Wallaahay waan ka xishoodaa inaan dadka wax weydiisto :|

I remember last year this relative of ours who came from Europe and he wanted us to pick him up from Toronto and take him back there...and he is saying that he is vacationing.. I paid his airline ticket but I was not happy..

BWI is better than National and Dulles. It avoids the traffic.

Kambuli,

Eid mubarak ! I am really ticked because I have this marti whose company was willing to pay for a hotel and yet he wants to stay with me  Why refuse them paying for your hotel ?

Man growing up walahi i dont think we were ever in the house, just me, my siblings and parents. Every other day someone would stay, often for prolonged periods of time. Anyone new to the UK or visiting, this stretching as far back as to 1990. Me and bro use to play a game, perdicting is there would ever be a day where we had no guests.

Ahhh airport pickups are the worst, I have certain family members that ring and say pick me up from Stanstead, Luton or Gatwick, knowing fully well that I liver 20 mins from the biggest airport Heathrow. They save a little 20 pounds on their ticket but picking them up consumes my day.

Noblemam, I know what you mean I use to have family members who had about 5 kids or more stay with us for months nearly a year - can you imagine sleeping in the living room for 6 months, and this was back in the late 90's.
