I disagree with the notion that Somalia's problems is internal, but we have CIAs financing warlords, American commandos violating the sovereignty of Somalia, Navies stealing our marine resources.
The chief source of our trouble is that we have borders with two giant states of which we have long borders disputes. These countries support different proxies to ensure that whoever comes up on top does not entertain territorial claims or its resolution.

We are eyed by oil giants which use their governments as instruments to get involved and be part of any government that proves to overcome internal issues.

No, Somalis are not killing each other but they are, in large measure, used to fight for the interest and designs of outside meddling parties. Qabiil is a minor factor.
For example, the peaceful Somalis in the North.

..Harti girls are smart.

your right highland. the qabil problems in somalia in minor or was and anyways if it werent the Europeans dividing lands, and giving away lands of a tribe to another tribes, all these tribel issues wouldnt be as big as it is now. they knew our weaknes, the love of our qabiil, the land divison due to qabiil and they used that against us, so we can fight, and whilst we fightingt they brought their own puppets to lead the countires. these men had no interest in somalia, the purpose was 1) because they were put there by western powers and 2) they got paid. merely just puppets.

the question we should ask is , should we be suprised by this ?

.....هَاأَنتُمْ أُوْلاء تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِبُّونَكُمْ
Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not... (ale-imraan-119)

know that all these things that befall the ummah , happen because Allah says,

وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِرِينَ
And that Allah may test (or purify) the believers (from sins) and destroy the disbelievers (ale-imraan 141)

When Somalis fight and the Somali news portals claim that a new war broke out, we usually discover that ten or twenty people died (at most). This has been going on for the past twenty years and the case has always been ten here, fifteen there and twenty on that side. However, in the early 90s, when the death toll was much higher and a part of Somalia suffered from an almighty famine, the world did stand up and take notice.

News is not always about what interest the world has in a particular area or how it can exploit it. Sometimes it is about the level of tragedy unfolding in that area. Take Sri Lanka and the Tamil Tigers for instance. The war has been raging for twenty-five years. It was not followed and reported on in all those twenty-five years. But whenever there were some audacious attacks by the Tamils (or the government) that resulted in major loss of life, the world media were all over the story in no time at all. Now that the Sri Lankan government has decimated the Tamils, it is not news any more.

The principle being applied here is: more dead people, more news coverage.

Be thankful for the lack of coverage, dear.
